What?

So today while we were doing a puzzle I had this conversation with Emma:

Mom: So Emma what's your plan?

Emma: My plan about what?

Mom: I don't know. Do you have a plan?

Emma: Yes, I have a plan.

Mom: What is it?

Emma: Well, we'll put a ball next to Daddy's side of the bed and then when he gets up he'll slip on it then he'll crash into the wall and then he'll trip over his backpack.

Mom: That's your plan?

Emma: Yep.

Mom: Have you been thinking about this for a while?

Emma: For years.

Watch your back Matt!

Hear Ye Hear ye

Did you hear? Are you excited? There will be a temple built in the greater Kansas City area. That is fantastic! I know that we don't technically live there anymore but we still consider it home and we are thrilled. Way to go all of you who made an effort to attend the temple regularly it has paid off!

Well the leaves have come to turnin' and the goose has gone to fly

October is here, how I love the month of October. But, I've had a problem with it for the last seven or so years. I couldn't enjoy it because I always knew that close behind was a long winter. I don't like winter, I don't like snow, I don't like ice storms or wind chill factors. I don't like seeing my breath or hacking coughs or any of it. Have I mentioned I don't like winter. But, I think I will be able to enjoy October in Henderson, NV. This is why:

Yeah, for fall!
